Cash savings

Post by YouKTier » Mon Feb 20, 2023 6:53 pm

Hi all, I intend to apply for family visa for my spouse & children based outside the UK. I intend to use the cashing savings option to meet the financial requirement. The required savings will have been in the bank account from 7th September 2022 to 6th March 2023. This makes it 181 days. On the 6th March i have to move the money and I intend to submit the visa application before the 20th March 2023. So based on the explained scenario will I be in a safe position in terms of meeting the 6 months requirement?. Kindly advice.

The funds should still be there on the day you submit the applications. Also to err on side if caution if in your shoes I won't touch said funds till the outcome of the applications.

I get your point although the guidance isn't clear about the funds being there at the time of application or until an outcome has been decided. Better be safe than sorry so thank you

specified limited company?

Post by YouKTier » Sat Feb 25, 2023 12:24 pm

Hi all, as a family visa sponsor I'm trying to establish if i fall under a ''specified limited company'' since i meet all three requirements mentioned further below but my business is part of a franchise which is what is confusing me if that would make me fall under the ''self employed, partner or franchise category' instead of specified limited company group'? could someone please help.

(i) the person is either a director or employee of the company, or both, or of another company within the same group; and

(ii) shares are held (directly or indirectly) by the person, their partner or the following family members of the person or their partner: parent, grandparent, child, stepchild, grandchild, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece or first cousin; and

(iii) any remaining shares are held (directly or indirectly) by fewer than five other persons.

i started a new topic but seems like it has been merged

I'm exploring different options...

If you have no answer to the questions pls stop interrogating when its perfectly normal to look at different options and clear doubts before applying
