Can not recall where it is asked for in the application. If it is then be truthful so far she qualifies to get said Carer's allowance.aig123 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 6:34 pmHello everyone,
I am in the process of renewing my visa on the FLR M , 5 year route.
I earn over the financial requirement of £18,600.
My wife works part time and care for our child and receives carer's allowance which is paid through Universal credit.
Should I tick she does receive this or not.
If I don't, would it affect my application?
Thanks.
What your partner receives or doesn't receive has no effect on your application, if "you" already meet the financial requirement.aig123 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 7:54 pmThanks for your reply.
On the Finance stage of the application, after filing the fields for employment, it then asks if partner receives any of these benefits which include Carers Allowance, DLA, PIP, Severe Disablement Allowance etc and the last on the checklist is No, my partner does not receive any of these benefits.
I understand going through this would mean I would be exempt from the financial requirements ( that's if I don't meet it) and adequate maintenance would be used instead.
I am asking because I meet the financial requirements of £18,600 and that if I decide not to include this benefit for the application not to take me through the route of making the application process longer with would now include my wife's income( Letter from employer, payslips, bank statements) added to the final documents to be submitted.
Thanks
