ILR related question, help!

Post by Anh1 » Sat Mar 11, 2023 11:21 pm

Hello everyone,

I am applying for ILR (Set M) and while going through my application, it just occurred to me that I have been carrying a mistake on my applications that went unnoticed until now. I mentioned in my previous applications that my wife is a British citizen by birth, but in reality, she attained her naturalisation certificate at a later point when she was around eight years of age.

I am aware that this was a big oversight on my part and I will be mentioning this in the cover letter of my ILR application. I want to stress that I by no means intended to be deceptive and while this is obviously an error but I feel that I have not gained any undue advantage due to this error.

I would be grateful if the wise people of this forum can let me know if this would be a problem.

thanks in advance!

It will not be a problem, if it were you previous Spouse visa and FLR (M) would have snagged.
