Bank statements for visitor visa

Post by maheshrana » Tue Mar 28, 2023 11:14 am

Hello, thanks to this forum I was able to secure a visitor visa to the UK in 2022 for me and my family.

I'm applying again now and have everything ready except the bank statement. bank of Baroda service in India is very slow. I have requested a bank statement for over 2 weeks but still haven't received it due to some technical faults at my home branch and won't be ready until next week they said I have raised an online complaint and messaged them on Twitter but to no help. I have a biometric appointment Monday morning and I have individual last 5 months' statement of my savings account emailed to me every month by our bank. Can I use that instead of waiting for 6 months' bank statements from the bank manager?

anyone applied with 5 monthly bank statements for a visitor visa from India or any Asian country. I know they are very strict with it but it's hard for me to reschedule the appointment now that everything is booked for that day.

please suggest the best action thank you.

Renewals are not as problematic as 1st time visa applications. You can obviously use the emailed versions (provided it has the letterhead of the bank). It's the same thing. Not compulsory that you lump them up on one paper.

5 months should be fine. If you can make it 6, even better. If you can't get end of March, use September.

Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
