New Application for Switching Employers - URGENT QUERY

Post by RoseAlb » Fri Apr 07, 2023 6:23 pm

Hi All,

I have recently recieved my new CoS with a new Employer (Hospital - Healthcare) as Anaesthetic Staff Nurse.
As I was filling out the form of Health and Care visa, I was asked whether I'm applying as a Nurse. If I tick a yes, it says provide NMC Certificate mandatory.

I am a Registered Anaesthetic ODP and I do not have NMC, I have an active HCPC Registration as an ODP.

What must I do ? Should I tick no to the question to avoid NMC Certificate and still upload HCPC in additional documents ??

Also, my CoS shows Skilled Worker (Changes of Employment - ISC liable). Is this correct for Undefined CoS with a new Employer ?

How long does In country applications take nowadays?
Should I go in for Standard or Priority service ?

Please guide.

Thank you

HPCP is not the same as NMC. To practice as a Nurse, you must be registered with the NMC. All healthcare professionals must register with HCPC.

ODP - Operating Room Practitioner, is not the same as a Nurse. An ODP is an allied health professional https://www.england.nhs.uk/ahp/role/
Char (CR001 not Casa)
