No Case ID

Post by RichG » Mon Apr 17, 2023 8:35 am

Hey Everyone,
I did my UK naturalisation application (Online) in March and gave my biometric as well in March 2023. But however I didnt receive any email from UKVI quoting this is my case ID or we have received your biometric and docs from UKVCAS.
I would like to know whether this is normal or do I have to contact UKVI, the last email I have received from UKVI was saying my payment was successful and since then I haven't heard anything.
Can you please let me know is this normal?

Thank you

It's sometimes "hit or miss" with confirmation emails .... sometimes they are received immediately or after a week+, sometimes never.
The fact you received payment confirmation is a good sign, they have taken the money and have your application.
Either reply to the payment confirmation email or forward to this email address (include your name, address, dob): NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk
Here are further email addresses which may be of help: british-citizenship/nationality-enquire ... l#p2093594
Can't guarantee a reply. Note that normally after submission/payment/biometrics there won't be regular updates on your application unless UKVI ask for further information, next will be the decision email/letter. Also note processing completion target is 6 months, often it's less than that, but can also be 6++ months.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.
