UK entry on skilled worker visa

Hello, I am offering support to new employee from India who is starting as a senior web developer for our company.

We have issues a CoS start date 22nd May 2023.

In the application we have been asked, when would you like to arrive UK. So the new employee likes to come 10 days before the start date of employment

I am unable to find the guide where I can see when is the earliest you can arrive before the start date.

Although if we say entering Uk on 13th May, it will only be possible if they allow an stamp the visa start date from 13th May

But I really like to be sure how many days to avoid any issues for employment

It all depends on what travel date was requested at the time of the visa application. If the vignette issued into the passport states a valid from date you can only travel from that date onwards.
