Renewal visa council tax

Post by Jshd187 » Mon Apr 24, 2023 2:02 pm

Hello,

I am about to do a renewal visa for my wife for 2.5 year extension.

We don’t have any council tax bills or utility bills in our name as I pay a set amount to my mum as we are living in her house.

Will this be a problem for evidence as this is one of the requirements to send utility bills or council tax bill in our name?

We have nhs letters and other evidence like joint bank statements. Wil they be sufficient, if someone can let me know please?

Thank you for letting me know.

I also have another question regarding cohabitation documents please.

My wife and I have a joint bank account but on the statement it shows our individual names. Can I add a cover letter to advise same account for both as account number and sort code will match.
For the bank account above we don’t have statements that are within 3-4 months. We can download the statements for these periods going back to 2021 however when we print it shows the date printed May 23. Can this be an issue.

The only other source my wife has is NHS letters that cover a 2 period but they’re not 3-4 months apart, some are 6 months. Will this be a problem?

The other documents she has is payslips going back to Sept 2022. Nothing before this therefore only 2 sources. She does have a personal bank account but the same printed date will show as May 23, same as our joint acc.

Worried that this may not be enough?

I have 3 statements covering a 2 year period for a credit card, NHS letters and phone bills within a 4-5 month period with is being out of the 3-4 months window within the 2 year period, Can this be an issue too?

As earlier stated provide what you have as when it come down to it that's only what you can do.
Yet to read of a refusal due to not supplying all cohabitation evidence or it not complying strictly to the letter.

Re: FLR Extension submit within 28 days.

Post by Jshd187 » Mon May 22, 2023 10:46 pm

Have one more question please. I have all my documents/bank statements from end of April signed along with payslips. I have paid for the IHS and priority Visa application fee yesterday. Booked the biometrics appointment.
The website says i can submit documents right up until the biometrics appointment day which is 17th June.

1. Can I still upload all the documents up until that appointment date even though it will go out of the 28 day window from when the last payslip was issued or do I have to upload within 28 days of the last payslip and bank statement that was issued?

Reason why I’m asking is because the property owner letter that needs to be signed is away on holiday 200 miles away from where I am so im not sure if I should wait or just drive up there to get the document signed as the day she will be back will go just out of the 28 day window.

Date of submission is what is relevant here.
Note that dated evidence should be up until the date of your submission of application /payment online.
She can sign and scan the document back to you.
