Shortage occupations list - Junior Developer

Good evening,

My current position is a "Junior Developer".

Is this job title included on the shortage occupations list (2136) or does it have to be "Developer" (i.e. without the Junior prefix)?

Think job titles and actual job responsibilities depend on the defined role in firm and also amount of experience.

For example, a senior developer on 2136 need to have least 5 years of experience but a firm could have different titles for that. I was hired as senior developer on 2136 while another of my coworkers was hired as lead developer as he had another 2 years experience but his SOC was also 2136.

As long as your job responsibilities and experience full fill the defined role in a SOC, your job tile shouldn’t matter much plus I may be confusing things but when I joined on 2136, only senior developers were in shortage occupation list but then a year or so later, all programmers and developers were added to the shortage occupation list.
