Based on the link below (and in reference to online apps):

QUESTION:
"I've realised that I made a mistake on one of my answers. Can I change it?
ANSWER:
No. Once you have submitted your online application you cannot change it. However, please enter any changes in writing on your printed copy of the application form."
I want to make a change to what I filled out on the online application. Is it really safe and acceptable to make the changes?
The first change would be on the "DATE I want to travel to the UK", originally I entered my online application date plus 3 months (the limit). Now I want to change it to be the date I submit my printed application and supporting materials by post mail, plus 3 months; which adds like 3 weeks.
Second, the not-so-small change is in my/our names. We already have a name affidavit attesting the small variations in names are all the same person, but I thought I'd write it as in my passport rather than as it is shown on all my US (State ID, Education Qualifications, Earnings, Bank Statements, etc) documents...
I could live without both changes, I'm just wondering if they REALLY can be done and changed on the printed app...
