Honeymoon witha spouse Visa

Post by Sean7398 » Sat Dec 06, 2008 4:24 pm

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to ask you all a question. I hope u can help.. I am a British citizen. My wife recently entered the UK ( a week ago to be precise) from India ona settlement visa.
We would like to go on a honeymoon. I vaguely remember reading somewhere about various conditions of entry and exit into the UK whilst ona settlement visa, but I cannot remember where. Can someone relay me to the appropriate literature please?? I remembr something about when she has a setlemnet visa, she is allowed out of the UK, but for no more that 90 days at at time. Is this correct??

Ifyou are just going on a honeymoon for a couple of weeks,it should make no difference.

I dont think there is a time limit for ILR, but if you spend to much time away from UK, you have to make it up to complete your two years residency.

The 90 days that you are referring is when you apply for Naturulisation and not ILR
