ILR Set(O) employer letter with annual leave dates

Post by geliowind » Mon May 22, 2023 8:29 pm

Hello everyone,

I have a question about this particular requirement for an ILR application under skilled worker route.

Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for
work-related absences including periods of
paid annual leave from the UK and Crown
Dependencies for xxx
.

I worked for 2 employers on tier 2/skilled worker visa, and I have not travelled outside of the UK while working for my current employer. However, I did travel during my annual leave a few times while I worked for my previous employer. I have tried to obtain a letter detailing both work related absences and annual leave dates, but I was provided with a letter only mentioning work related absences and no annual leave dates. My previous employer does not want to put my annual leave dates in a letter, it is something they confirmed in an email to me. They did send me a spreadsheet of all my annual leave dates, but it feels wrong to submit some random excel spreadsheet as a document for ILR. What are my options here? Do I submit the letter that only has my work related absences from the UK and an email I got sent from my previous employer? Or is there anything else I can do that I haven't thought of.

Thank you for your advice in advance.

A letter from a previous sponsor is not required.

ILR Set(O) application payslip and bank statement

Post by geliowind » Mon Jun 12, 2023 6:32 pm

Hi,

I have 2 quick questions about the payslip and bank statement requirement.

I get my payslips through a third party provider and I have just seen that this guidance: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... _04-14.pdf states:

Payslip: This must be the most recent payslip.
It must be dated no earlier than one calendar
month before the date of the application. It
should either be an original payslip or on
company-headed paper. If the payslip is not on
headed paper or is a printout of an online payslip,
you must provide a letter from your sponsor,
confirming the payslip is authentic. The letter
from the sponsor must be on company headed
paper, and must be signed by a senior official.

This guidance seems to be from 2014, so am I still required to ask my sponsor to confirm the payslip I get is legit?

Second question: I got certified copy of my transactions for the last month from my bank, is this an acceptable form of proof instead of actual online statement? I am eligible to apply now and would like to do so as soon as possible and don't want to wait for my bank statements to come out on a certain date.

Guidance from 2014 is not relevant today. You must not use outdated guides :!:
Tier 2 route no longer exists and procedures have changed since 2018.
ALL digital evidence is now accepted. So Payslips or bank statements can be uploaded as they are.
