Citizenship Invitation

Hi,

I am asking this on behalf of friend who has approved citizenship application but still has not received his invitation by email. He has also contacted the citizenship division but no response has been received so far.

Does this mean that he will not receive the invitation until next ceremony? Has the invitations by email closed? Is there anyone else waiting for the invitation?

Most likely. There are people reporting they got a slot, but they're infrequent and I wouldn't bet on an off chance someone's slot would be transferred to him.

Me (applied in 2021) and a bunch of other people. That's just how it is.

Thank you for your information. He did not receive the invitation from citizenship division. He will wait for next ceremony.

Just checking generally that friend who did not receive the invitation link for his ceremony, can he still attend the event and notify the staff of this issue at the event or this is not possible.

I would not expect that it would be the case, as that would cause everyone who is approved to come up regardless...
He would also need a certain declaration printed and signed to attend it, which I don't think he could get without invitation.
