Skilled worker (Employer changed, within UK)

Post by alijaved786786 » Thu Jun 22, 2023 9:44 am

I have resigned from current job by considering the decision will be done within 8 weeks. I am shifting to new place with family and getting extremely worried (its been 5 weeks already but no contact from UKVI). Is there any way to pay urgent fee of £500 now ? It would help if someone share current processing time.

Thanks

The standard timeframe is 8 weeks. Wait to hear back.

No, you cannot pay extra now to upgrade to a faster decision.

Thank you for response. I heard due to Ukrine war, processing time is delayed to 10 weeks ? There are chances that I will loose my new job

Your new employer should be aware that there's a timeframe for processing a SW visa, and sometimes it can be longer for multiple reasons. Nothing related to any war!

Keep constant communication with the employer.
