Home Office asking for UK NARIC (EPLS)

Post by deeqadri79 » Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:58 pm

Hi All,
I applied for my wife's ILR on 16 may 2023 , today we received an email asking for uk Naric EPLS I assume ? we provided pervious UK Naric equivalency which was previously accepted for visa application and extension.

Should I apply to get an updated Ecctis certificate (previously UK Naric) English proficiency as an evidence ?
will it cause any problems as I'm applying for this updated certificate now ?

Any help or feedback in this regrade will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Old NARIC that was NOT obtained under the Red route cannot be used. So you need to provide English Language Proficiency Statement (ELPS). Note that the Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS) on its own is not enough to prove your English language level.

Because your statement of comparability is NOT acceptable, I covered this here: indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-ho-does- ... l#p2096904

You must sit a SELT exam and manage to get a score at B1 or higher
many thanks for your prompt response. I have now applied for B1 test:)
Hi im in a similar situation , did B1 test got accepted by Home instead of UK Naric ?

B1 will be accepted.
Thanks for your reply , just one more question
as my wife selected uk naric for English proficiency in the form, if i send B1 should i send a covering letter to explain the situation as UK Naric certificate will be difficult to get within 10 days because of the document requirements ? did anyone had a similar situation and they had their B1 accepted.

Thanks in advance

Please stick to this post ONLY for your queries :!: :!:
UKVI will use the evidence provided to evaluate eligibility as that is what the rules require, NOT the answers on the form
