Tier-1 General Maintenance Query - Application from India

Hi I am currently in UK but I need to got to India to switch to Tier-1 general.

Can I put my post office saving account passbook in India as a proof of £2800 for three months?

Can somebody please reply as statements from UK banks must be produces within seven days of the application which is very difficult to manage?

Seven day rule has been scrapped ... I think u can use ur UK account itself.
