Hi!
I got fired on skilled worker in May. (I received a termination letter stated that last day is middle of June)
And my employer gave me some time of notice period + paid holidays + a month of unpaid holiday so I can have more time to find a new sponsor. They haven’t reported Home Office yet.
I found a new job and now I received a confirmation of permission email from Home Office recently.
Now I’m going to tell my old employer that they can report the end of employment.
I have few questions.
1. It wouldn’t be any issue if my old employer report Home Office now after I’m granted new visa? (Even if I got a termination letter in May)
2. Is it okay if there’s some gap before I start new job? (My start date on new CoS is 21 July and I haven’t received BRP yet. )
If my old employer report Home Office that my last day is end of July and I start new job one week later. One week gap is okay?
3. My plan is applying ILR after skilled worker visa. Having a record of being fired could affect on getting ILR?
Any advice would be appreciated!
