FLR (M) Extension - Financial requirements & Questions

Post by cryptosunitha » Thu Jul 06, 2023 9:11 pm

Dear Moderators,

Could you please help me on below regarding financial requirements to my flr(m) extension?

As we need to show financial requirements to get visa £18,600 per year.

My visa is going to expire on 06/08/2023. I would like to get financial requirements for my extension before apply. So my questions are as below.

I'm doing permanent employee with flexible hours and earning less per month. My husband doesn't have job until March this year then he got new job in Apr, 2023.

My salary from Aug,2022 - Jul,2023 : £ 12,478.61
My husband salary from Apr, 2023 - Jul, 2023: £10,207. Here Apr salary added in May month, so total payslips only 3.

All together £22,685.61

My question is, do they accept my husband's salary with only 3 payslips of salary for financial requirements.

Please help me.

Kind regards,
CS

You don't meet the salary requirements. Your husbands 3 months salary doesn't do the trick either. What might mostly happen is that you would get moved to the 10 year path.

Your relationship is not in question, but you don't tick all the boxes for a 5 year path to ILR anymore.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Thank you so much, Ticktack.

I was worried till yesterday night because of no one has replied but finally got valuable information from you. I'm really grateful to you for your help.

so, in application you don't want me to tick husbands information i.e,. salary. Is that right?

Kind regards,
CS

"tick all the boxes" is an expression meaning "to fulfil/to satisfy", so if you "dont tick all the boxes" for the route, that just means you don't satisfy the criteria.
That has nothing to do with the application form itself.

Since others mention about 10 year route (I cannot confirm or deny, no experience in that area), if that happens you'll be put on the path where you need to reside for 10 years for ILR.

First time posting here, I have been working as a agency worker at a confectionery factory for 6 months but have recently been given a contract by the confectionery factory to become permanent. I was wondering how will this change in employment affect my spouse visa when it comes to proof of sufficient income. Would I show both the agency and contract wage slips.

Hi meself2,

I'm trying to fill FLR(M) application form in online but they are asking ECCTIS letter that confirms the qualification meets. Is it new or am I filling wrong application?

Why didn't they ask me to select Trinity college certificate (CEFT Level B1) for proof of English language?

Please advise.

Thanks

If you ticked YES to a foreign degree taught in English, you will need ECCTIS.

If you are using a Trinity English Test, then you tick NO to the degree taught in English.

Hi @CR001,

Sorry for contacting again.

I've completed the application form till IHS payment completed but if I go back to select "No" then I can't able to update. Is that right? or Is there any option to update, please?

Thanks

Hi @AmazonianX,

Thanks for your clarification.

Is any other solution, please?

I mean...
Can I do new application and insert IHS reference number(already paid) in new form?
or
Can I do new application by post with IHS reference number (already paid)? I i need to do this, how please?
Do I need to fill manual application or Can I do online another new form and print the application then do by post?

I should have checked it before IHS payment but done mistake. Sorry, for the too many questions.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Hi @CR001,

I've just filled all application form online and paid fee as well today (29/07/23) then gone to UKVCAS site to book an appointment for submitting the documents and Biometric.

I've checked the appointment closer dates but too expensive but if I take two weeks later then getting much less.

Here doubt is, my visa is expiring on 06/08/2023.

Can I take UKVCAS appointment after my visa expired date or do I have to take before visa expire?

Please advise.

Thanks

No, there are no template letters. You simply write a letter based on what you wish to say according to your circumstances. Cover letters are not usually needed.

Hi @CR001,

I got an another doubt while try to upload all documents and asking proof of evidence for the below questions.

1. Evidence to support my claim it would be difficult for me to establish a private life outside the UK - What do I need to upload here, please?

New guys Note: They are clearly mentioned need to be scanned only Black and White or Grey scale but not in color. Unfortunately I've scanned all the documents in color but I need to do again in Black and White.

Thanks

1. You do not need to provide an actual evidence. Your written statements of why is sufficient.

2. Despite what is written scanned documents in color not exceeding 6mb are accepted.

Dear Moderators,

First, thank you for all your support.

My application has been successful with no changes of visa to 10 years route and really lucky.

FLR(M) Extension online application submission: 04/08/2023
Documents submitted on BRP Appointment: 14/08/2023
Application successful email confirmation: 14/09/2023
BRP received: 19/09/2023

As per email confirmation visa valid until 22 Mar 2026 but they mentioned on BRP, valid until only 31-12-2023.

Is it error or do I need to contact them?

Kind regards,
CS

Kind regards,
CS
