family separation

Post by Pundut » Tue May 24, 2005 8:31 am

Hi,
last june,2004, I entered u.k as i got my hsmp approval.in last 10 months ,i have very good job and economically very active in u.k. I have two children but unfortunately due to some domestic problems my wife was not ready to join me in u.k and we have got seperated last month.
next month,i have to apply for my HSMP extension.
Question.
Will it effect my HSMP extension case because at the time of HSMP appplication ,I mentioned that my family will join me in u.k but it did not happen.

No. It should not affect renewal.

To extend this situation.

If the wife files a case in the legal court in the local country then will this amount to crime.?

Also Does the HSMP Candidate have to leave UK and report to his Local country?

If yes this would really ruin the career of the HSMP candidate

Chris, a case? What does that mean?

Is the person being accused of a crime? If so, what sort of crime?

Or are we talking about legal separation or divorce, or a family matter like that?

Chris, that is not a crime, and so the person is not going to get extradited.

Do they need to go back to attend any hearings? That of course would depend upon the divorce law of the country concerned.

Will this ruin the career of the HSMP candidate? No, not at all.

Hi everybody,

Today I received an e-mail from HO.They ifromed me that "The main criteria for extension is that you are economically active and have
not claimed public funds. The situation you mention should not adversely
affect your application."
