If they born here when you had already 3 years - they naturalized by born

Applied for my child 16years old in June 2022, approval letter today.

Was vetting completed for your child? My child’s application was made on August 2022 at 16 years. I am seeing some children over 16 vetting been done. I have not been asked by department to complete any vetting for my child and still waiting for approval!

Applied for 2 children end March 2023 for 1 child received approval today. For the other one evetting is involved as he is above 16.

Hi White_Pearl, can you please let me know for your child over 16 did citizenships department sent any separate form or email for Vetting to be done or is Vetting been done on the parent consent that was originally submitted with minor application form? Am curious to know how you know your child’s application is currently under vetting?

I have 2 children. Applied in August 2022 for both of them. They were 15 and 17 at that time, now they are 16 and 18. I got approval only for 16y old without any eVetting. There absolutely nothing for another 18y yet.

Waiting for the same since July 2022.
There no responses on my emails/letters also.

It looks like it purely depends on the child's age.
They are done with a cert by 1 year time for those under 16,
and there is still nothing for the older ones who were over.
I believe there should be an eVetting request, but there is nothing at all.

Where to get it? Before they moved everything to mywelfare.ie, there was welfare.ie where I was able to get this with children names, now via mywelfare.ie I can get it only my wife name, PPS and total sum without even number of kids! Emailed to info@welfare.ie and Child.benefit@welfare.ie but no response!

I paid 200 euros for my kids (3 children) on July 28th. I got back the naturalisation letter for one of them in August. This is October and I am yet to get any correspondence or naturalisation letter for the other 2 kids.

I have sent several emails to citizenshiponline@justice.ie but not getting response. What can I do? I am not sure why the other 2 letters have not been issued

I second the RCCar request? Are there any simple timelines (application date -> acceptance) for form 9 applications? I am hoping that someone has some movement for the post-online application period. I realise that this is a bit optimistic, but I remain curious.
