Overdraft Facility

Post by specialk » Thu Dec 11, 2008 2:17 pm

G'day

Brand new to this forum and to the whole Tier 1 process.
Want to begin my application next year from South Africa.
Question i have is can you use your overdraft facility to back up your maintenance requirement. e.g.say you have R30000 in case and a R30000 overdraft facility readily available.

Will that suffice or do you have to have the have all the money in cash in your savings account.

Any info will be appreciated, as i've been hearing conflicting stories.

You need to have a positive balance for the mainatence funds.

Think of it from the point of view of the person looking at the case... If I needed £800 ... I had a £2000 overdraft and I was only -£1200, It's still not looking good ay? :)

G'day,

I also advise you to stop associating with idiots who tell you such rubbish that an overdraft facility may contribute to your maint. funds.

Sincerely,
