Thank you again for your reply and advice throughout this whole situation. I will speak to the solicitor again to reiterate your point that the ILR does not void her previous visa.

As for her mental illness it has been on going for several years and although all sorts of new medications have been given, none have resolved the issues. She is at the point where she cannot even leave the house without panic attacks and extreme anxiety, it has rendered her non verbal with strangers too. I am at a loss for words and thoughts at the situation because we have spent 17 years in this country without help from the government and with abuse from my father at home. I have truly reached my breaking point.

Hello.

Just replying here to update this thread. After this rejection I talked to another private GP who was able to retest my mum for the KOLL waiver and wrote explicitly that she is unable to complete or attempt the KOLL Waiver exam within the next two years. Got the decision this morning that the ILR visa has been granted after submitting the new KOLL on Saturday night.

Thank you everyone on this forum who has helped me, I’m over the moon!!! If there is a way to donate to the website I will be doing so for sure.
