Salary Requirements

Post by humanista_aleko » Fri May 27, 2005 3:24 pm

Hello,

Does anyone know if income other than your dicrect salary(bonus) could be included? I am just under the 27 000 threshold, and need like 500-1000£.

Many thanks in advance. I work in the UK with a work permit at the moment.

hi humanista,

I think any income that you have earned during last 24 months, will be considered for HSMP. But, this must be included in your income tax return or any such documents.

hi dhavaluk,

Thanks for the reply. In this case, if I put interest, and possible stock gains, that will add up to a 1000+ pounds, this should be enough, according to what you are saying, am I right.

Thanks again

No dear humanisha,

I am sure that the interest and income from the stocks would not count towards your earnings. Earnings other than salary means, which u earn by some part time business, or the jobs other than your main job.

Hope this will help, though u can seek advise of the moderators.

I agree with Dhavaluk there, i dont think you can include earnings from stocks. it might be on one of the guidance forms as well. you can include your salary, bonuses, and allowances as long as these have been included declared to the taxmen.
Dhavaluk just a correction on your earlier post, it is income during the past 12 months not 24months
