UK domestic cruise while waiting on curtailment letter

I have a skilled worker visa and seperated from my employer at the start of June. I have not received a curtailment letter yet, and have not travelled outside the country. Would it be considered leaving the UK if I took a cruise from Southampton to Edinburgh to Newcastle? The cruise line can’t answer if I will have to go through immigration or not, or if it counts as leaving the UK. Does anyone know the answer?

You are still within UK waters during transit and will nit have to go through immigration.
