Dear immigration experts,
I passed my life in UK test on 9 July 2015. Subsequently, I applied and received my ILR on 25-08-2015 based on this result. I remember that we had to enclose 'life in UK' pass certificate with ILR application back then (unlike now, we can provide URN).
I am now making an application for British passport but unfortunately I lost my 'life in UK' pass certificate. I called 'life in UK' support at 02039911993 and they advised that my result is too old and not retained on their system. I was then advised to apply without 'life in UK' test result but rather attach a cover letter with my British passport application mentioning that I had passed my 'life in UK' on 9 July 2015 and received my ILR on 25-08-2015 based on this result. Home office may be retaining my results and its logical that I could only have received ILR after passing 'life in UK' test. Do you think if this is feasible? Or shall I just retake 'life in UK' test?
Just to add I was originally on Tier 1 general visa and received my ILR with 5 year route.
Thanks,
Faiz
