Hi,
My parents visitor visa application got refused with the below reason.Sorry this might be huge to read but I would request you to please go through and provide some valuable suggestions as I am planning to re-apply.
"I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 because:
You applied for a 6 months visit visa in order come to the UK for 1 months and 10 Days to
visit your son. You state that you are un-employed and have savings of 2000 GBP. You also
state that you will be spending 600 GBP towards the cost of the trip and your sponsor will be
paying 2000 GBP towards the cost of your trip. The onus is on you to qualify for entry
clearance based on your own circumstances and your own intentions.
In support of your application you have submitted a bank savings statement in your name
(account ending XXXX) and other supporting documents. I have considered not only these
documents but all of the documents you have provided regarding your circumstances.
You have said that your sponsor will help you with this visit by providing you with 2000 GBP
towards the cost of your trip whilst you are in the United Kingdom and I am satisfied that they
are in a position to do so based on documents provided. While I take that into account in
assessing your proposed maintenance and accommodation in the UK, this is only one
aspect of the visitor rules and this sponsorship does not satisfy me of your own intention to
leave the UK on completion of your visit.
The bank statement in your name which you have provided shows a large opening balance
of XXXXXX on 31/01/2023. For which there is no indication as to how it was
accumulated. I note that on your visa application for you have not indicated any other
sources of income. On the information available to me on this occasion, I am not satisfied
that you have demonstrated that your employment and financial circumstances are as stated
on your visa application form.
In consideration of your family ties, I note you are travelling with your spouse, whilst the
answers provided by you in your visa application and the supporting information all indicate
a lack of remaining dependants in your home country. I am not satisfied regarding your
circumstances in your home country and this leads me to doubt your intentions in travelling
to the UK at this time. Furthermore, you have not shown that you have, on the balance of
probabilities, social/family or economic circumstances to your home country to satisfy me
that you intend to leave the UK on completion of your visit.
Taking all of the above into account I am therefore not satisfied that you are a genuine visitor
who will leave the UK at the end of your visit or who is genuinely seeking entry for a purpose
that is permitted by the visitor routes. Your application has therefore been refused "
Can you please clarify the below questions.
- Can I re-apply immediately ?
- Is it better to go via immigration lawyer or Shall I do it on my own as I have done it already and ended up here.
- Since my parents are unemployed and I had to send funds to their account. However since I failed to submit my home country bank statements(I have submitted the UK bank statements. Thought home country bank statements are not required) which shows the funds that I have sent to them. Will the visa officer consider this home country bank statement if submit during the 2nd attempt ?
- Also, as stated above in the refusal reason is it better to mention the sibling details who are in my home country to get any benefit here in terms of intension to leave the UK ?
Please share your thoughts and really appreciate for your valuable time. Thank you.
