Yes, this is the EARLIEST you should apply. Can I apply 28 days prior to the 30 months ie 19 July.
Also possible. Either option as long as you apply BEFORE the visa expiry date.Or can it only be 28 prior to expiry ie 06 August?
LIUK does not expire so it can be reused and because it doe not expire it can be done at anytime...I don't know about the maiden name bit.jooray wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:58 pmHi. I have recently had my flr m extension approved - so still got roughly 2.5 years before applying for ILR but want to get things straight in my head.
Years ago, I had my ILR - was lost after leaving UK for several years (will not go into reasons, as not really necessary, but I am now on flr-m)
So years ago, I passed the life in the UK test. I was using my maiden name at that time, test in maiden name. Now, only use married surname.
Question- do I need to sit LIUK again, or can I use the same one from years ago?
If I can use it, does it matter if in maiden name?
If I have to sit test again- does it matter when this is done? I will be applying for ILR early 2026, in theory could I do it now, or is that too early?
Many thanks
