Apply within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date she ENTERED the UK. Her ILR qualifying period starts on the date she entered the UK and NOT the date her initial visa was issued/granted.What is the earliest date spouse ILR application can be submitted?
There NO 180 day absence rule for spouse visa holders. Her qualifying period starts from the date she entered the UK. It is completely different dependent visa category that has the 180 day absence limit and where the qualifying period starts from visa issue date.I used ILR application calculator from google which advised that ILR application can be submitted from 04/09/2023 because arrival date 27/10/2018 does not count as per 180 days absence rule. This means her 5 years period start from 04/10/2018. Is this correct?
YesEarliest date spouse application can be submitted 28 days before 5 years qualifying period complication. Is this correct?
Same as for the FLR(M) extension, last two years evidence in both names from 3 to 6 different sources.Any changes to evidence of residence documents? Or we only have to provide 6 joint documents for 2 years with 3 different source?
TJUK wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 9:42 pmDear Members
Thank you for the quick response.
I am confused regarding the date my wife will be qualified for ILR. As HO announced changes in the visa fee from 04/10/2023, I would appreciate if experienced members advised me the exact date my wife’s ILR application can be submitted within 28 days rule? The exact date is 29/09/2023 for 28days concession however you can already submit right now, book appointment for after 29th September and you will still be alright.
I am planning to submit the application either on 29/09/2023 or 30/09/2023. Would these date are ok? Please advise the date please.
Secondly, application checklist mentioned to submit 2.5 years of residence evidence not 2 years. 2years is enough. Can experienced members clarify how many years of evidence are require? Please provide HO guidance relating to this.
You help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Regards
