You can't sponsor your wife, as you don't have permanent residence (ILR) in the UK. She will have to qualify under her own route to settlement.
You omitted to tell the forum member that your application took over a year to be granted and that this was after asking your MP to intervene with the HO on your behalf.kofi75 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 10:02 amYour wife can be put on your next renewal if you both live with the British child. If you can prove that she hasf a parental responsibility for your British child. It is easier if you live together with your British child.I got my my leave to remain through my parental responsibility for my partners child who is British. We all live together as a family unit.
I wasn't suggesting that the MP's involvement was wrong. I'm fully aware that the Home Office has no confirmed timeline for FLR(FP) visas. My post was intended to make the OP aware that FLR(FP) applications are often not straightforward and this can be a lengthy process, with no guarantee of success.kofi75 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 9:24 pmThis is my last renewal on a ten year parent route.
If you check on the government website you would realise there is no timetable scale for flr fp applications and it is taking the homeoffice 12months to complete an application. I don't see anything wrong to get uour Mp involved to expedite your application.
I only gave an advice.
