Naturalization application guidance

Good morning members,

I would like the respected members to help me with below questions as I am about to apply for naturalization.

I am married to a British citizen for last seven years and have three kids together all of my kids have British passport.
I have received indefinite leave to remain extension on the 28/09/2022 now I would like to apply for neutralization.

Days spent outside the uk in the last three years are from 17th 2021 to 6th Sep 2021(around 201 days). Was stuck in Pakistan with kids (red listed at the time) due the covid restriction all my returned tickets were cancelled, is this absence from the uk will be an issue?

Is my English qualification and life in the uk will still be acceptable from last year? (did both exams for the ILR extension last year).

If you can provide the list of docs needed for the application?

Yes, the life in the UK test is not going to expire.
Which English language qualification is it? Should still be valid a year or so later.

Days spent outside the UK seem fine. You can add the reason for the time spent abroad in a cover letter if you want.

Documents required are minimal:
- passport covering the residency period (3 years as spouse)
- BRP
- English certificate
- LITUK code
- 2 referee declarations (https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... on_MN1.pdf)
Note: Bills or statements are not required - you passport covers proof of residency.

The Eglish test is B1 and it was done in May 2022.

The Eglish test is B1 and it was done in May 2022.

If the B1 was done in May, by my calculations, it was used for your ILR application. So even if it has expired, since you've already used it once and it was accepted, you can use it again for your Naturalisation.

Hello there congratulations,
Would you be so kind to tell the step by step process of applying for nuturalisation as I am about to apply online.
I have the B1 English language certificate fro my ilr which over a year old and life in the uk test is cleared too.

What's unclear about naturalization? You fill the form online, give biometrics and wait for a decision.
