SPOUSAL VISA 12 WEEKS COMPLETED...WAITING...

Post by 688148256 » Wed Nov 19, 2008 7:42 pm

I am about to make a fresh application for spousal visa for mrs.

I am a company director for a small family business, I have always been getting paid cash wages..But I do have a P60 showing my earnings to date.

How can one proove the wages have been paid. I do have banks statements showing active movements of transaction. I have deposited money as required. Somtimes £500 sometimes even less or more then this figure.

Doesn't answer your question, but do you pay taxes, NI contributions and all business-related taxes? Why don't you get payslips??

Do you keep company accounts? Have you got an accountant who could provide you with a copy of your company accounts? You need to show that you have at least a minimum of £95 left over after all bills been paid in order to support your partner.

where do we stand???

Well in my last application...i never provided any additional suporting docs from accountant although i did have all of them ready..its jus becos i took it too lightly...i thought i am british, marrying a girl of my choice..dats more then enough..to bring her over. I provided bank statements and payslips of income...and a letter from accountants explaining my projected dividends..but apparantly i always took my wages from my company as cash...and then deposited into the bank as i required to keep up with my direct debits....

Apparantly I even got my dividends figure amount wrong in my last application.

But this time i hired a solicitor and my accountant provided all company statements, balance sheets my last p60...all the important docs that an accountant could provide.

Solicitor indexed all the documents, filled out forms, I got paid around £8000 of dividends from my company for this year...So i got a letter from the bank confirming the credit of this amount into my bank..and now I have also setup a BACS for my wages, so it gets wired to my personal account from the business account..

After getting paid my dividends and monthly wages...I earn around £1150 a month...my monthly expenses are only £250 as I live with my family..

I messed up my last application due to lack of knowledge...that is why I didn't wanted to appeal.

My personal savings at this time are £11000...

Proof of accomodation is provided as I got the property inspection done.

Where do we stand with this new application now???

Sounds like you got the financial bit covered...have you got everything else covered that they require?...proof of relationship...proof of adequate accommodation??

well...for accomodation i had got done inspection from a qualified...property inspector...so even in my 1st application the ECO didn't raise an alarm about accomodation, so i re-submitted my last inspection report..

Relationship part in my 1st application was messed up aswell...because my wife cudn't answer some of the questions and we didn't submit any fone bills...as we use international calling cards beacuse they are cheaper.

With my 2nd application I submitted all the international cards I has used to call her....and MSN chats....

well it looks like you covered all angles....a few pics of you both together wouldn't go amiss...and have you wrote a letter stating you agree to be the sponsor? and a bit about how you met and how your relationship developed?

Good luck!!

still waiting

Post by 688148256 » Mon Feb 09, 2009 4:17 pm

This is the 11th week since we made an application for spousal visa for my wife in India, still have not heard anything..

Is it normal? Are there any similiar cases hanging with the BHC New Delhi for settlement from Nov 2008?
