Never Used Expired UK Visa

Hi

My parents had applied for a UK tourist visa in India and were granted a multi visit 2 year visa. I was their sponsor (British Citizen). Their visa expired in August 23 however they never had the chance to use their visa before it expired.

Is there a quick and easy renewal process or would they have to do a new application altogether?

Every visitor visa is a new visa, there's no renewal for visitor visas.
You do everything from scratch.

There is no similar service like US visa drop box provision for UK visa applications.
Put in new application using similar valid documents like before.
