Hi all,
I am new to forum, so I hope this is the right section to raise the question.
I have TIER 2 General visa with 2 dependents. This is my 4th year.So I am planning to submit ILR next year.
I stayed outside UK every year for 6 7 weeks which is more than my paid leave period. Because I worked remotely from outside of the UK every time I had my leave. This is an extra 2 3 weeks every year. It is not an official work trip but I just extended my stay outside of the UK by working remotely to spend a bit more time with family and loved ones.Since it is not an official trip, I didnt specifically let me employer know about it because working remotely has alreay been allowed in my company and everyone works from somewhere in the world.
I heard that we should justify our stay outside of the UK other than our paid leaves and it has to be for work reasons. In my case, it is not.Can you please advise if this will be a problem for my ILR? What should I specify during my ILR application because it is not a work trip but I just worked remotely for my own reasons. I am not sure if my employer will be willing to provide an official document for remote working either.
