Question about Naturalisation application

Hello,

We have a question about the Naturalisation application. The situation is:
1. I got my ILR in July 2022
2. My wife and my daughter (6 years old) got their ILR in May 2023 (they applied in Sept 2022, but due to some IT issue in the home office, they just received their ILR in May this year)
3. My son (3 years old) got his in July 2023

I am advised that I can apply for my Naturalisation now and my kids can join my application. After receiving our successful result, my wife can also start her Naturalisation application without waiting for a full year. However, some others said that my wife does not fit this route and needs to wait for a full year until May 2024. I am wondering which one is correct.

Please let me know if any more information is needed.

As long as you are not British she'll have to wait 12 months until applying.
However, once you gained British citizenship wife can apply immediately she's got ILR.
Even if that is before the 12 months are completed! The 12 months is not a fixed waiting period in this scenario.
