Time spent outside doesn't matter for ILR SET (M). However, it would be a problem for naturalisation in future.queries123 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 2:22 pmHi All,
My wife is going to apply for her ILR as she has been on FLR M (family route - spouse) for nearly 4.5 years now.
Her 1st FLR M in Jan 2019
2nd Extension in June 2021 & the visa valid till March 2024
We are aiming to apply for her ILR in Feb 2024. When did she enter the UK?
Our questions: that she has been out of UK for 11 months in the year of feb 2022 to Dec 2022.
And we got stuck in aboard (India) during covid from November 2020 to June 2021.
And now we are planning to go to India for a short trip in November for 2 weeks.
Would that be an any issues for being outside of the country this much?
Is there any sort of rule that she has to be inside the UK prior to apply for her ILR?
Thank you in advance!

queries123 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 2:50 pmOk, thank you!
So there is no such time line she spent out side of the UK then? They would ask on the form, but it has no effect.
Also there is no conditions like she has to be in UK for a year or something before applying for her ILR? correct
whereas, other category visas having rules not staying outside of the country for a certain period of time length? The little perks.
Summary:
she can stay out of the UK as much as she wanted right? no restrictions?
And when she is appling for naturalisation she has to be maintained her absences, correct? Question for a different topic.

She was originally entered in the UK on Sept 2015 on the Tier 2 dependant visa. then we switched to FLR M from Jan 2019.
When shall we apply for her Naturalisation?
I was only worrying for her ILR - there is no issues obtaining her ILR right due to she stayed out of the UK for nearly 500 days during the 5 years in FLR (M)?? No as there is no absence limits on spouse visa route.
Thank you for all the clarification, you people rocking!!
Hi there,zimba wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 2:12 am1. Yes
2. 60 months after first visa approval- 28 days is the earliest date of ILR eligibility
3. There is no absence limit under the family route. Absences are therefore irrelevant
4. Apply when eligible for ILR
5. NARIC obtained under the RED route, evaluated at B1 can be used
And I need to get the Letter from work aswell to meet the conditions which will be done by HR from the company mentioning all these. does it need to be dated with in 28 days prior to submit application / bio metric.zimba wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 2:12 am1. Yes

You could simply chose "Own" as that is correct and provide the documents you stated above.queries123 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 11:24 pmAs I am going through the application;
Do you own or rent your home?
I chose = Neither own nor rent
Who provides you with accommodation?

I confirm I will provide:
Proof of property ownership from the owner of the property you live in, such as a mortgage statement
- Shall I provide deed land registry document for this? Yes
I confirm I will provide:
Copy of an ID document of the owner of the property you live in, such as a passport
- Provisional Licence to this? or what shall we give?
I confirm I will provide:
Letter signed by the owner of the property you live in stating that you have permission to live there
- what sort of cover letter should we provide?

Other Documents;
Documents supporting my other reasons to stay in the UK
- what documents shall I give for this as I will be covering for 2.5 cohabitation?
A 3 part document will be generated for you to print and sign at the end of application.queries123 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 1:15 amOk, If I give Own option - I Own it
- The Land Registry is on the both our names mentioned. and how should I provide the consent letter?
is there any format for consent letter?
It's not a problem, enter what hubby pays. The earlier stated consent form covers thisqueries123 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 1:45 amok!

How much mortgage do you pay each month? (Required) = 1504 pounds (my husband only pays from his bank account)
If you do not have a mortgage enter 0
Please note: the mortgage on both names though - please advise accordingly!!
Is that be good that I am not sharing paying towards mortgage whereas I pay bills instead from my account and covering expenses - using credit cards and stuff
