Spouse FLR(M) application but considered as FL(FP)

Hi,

Applied for extension of Spouse FLR(M) in Jun23 after contacting home office it is been communicated that the category of the application is FLR(FP) . But have applied the correct form which is FLR(M) , Now the home office is saying to void the current application and submit the new application. Received this response from case prep team.

After reviewing have found the financial requirement met question is set to 'NO' considering the question is for applicant, Later realized the it should be 'Yes'.

Can someone help me if we can request to update the category to FLR(M) instead of void and applying again the new application form.

Visa is expired in july , If reapplying will be considered as a overstayer or any issues while applying for settlement.

It may be better to post the message received from HO/CW in its entirety.

If you meet the financial requirements and wrongly put know in application, write back to CW it was an error and to correct to yes.
If you still meet the requirements, send previous evidence of meeting the financial requirements as you uploaded during application in June. If you still meet requirements,
send updated payslips and account statements from June till date indicating so.

"I can confirm that your application is not under the FLRM route.

Unfortunately we cannot change an application once it’s been submitted.

The quickest way is to void your application under XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX and submit a new application under the FLRM route.

We would then look into refunding your application and your IHS fee for the XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX whilst working on your new application.

Please confirm either you would like to void the current application and submit a new one or continue with the application which is currently open.
