UKVI App Expiry conflict

Hello,

I have valid ICT visa till Feb 2025 , but in the BRP I have expiry date as 31Dec2024. Now I have got another job where I have to switch to skilled worker Visa.

While Im applying for the switch , I have created the account with Visa validity end date as Feb 2025. While performing the UKVI scan via app, it took end date as 31Dec2024 automatically and it can't complete my initial verification due to this conflict.

What should I do ? Do i need to delete and create a new account ? If yes, how do I delete the account ? Please let me know. Thank you

All brp cards expire on 31 december 2024. It is the card that expires not the visa status. From January 2025 it goes didigtal and there wont be a physical brp card anymore.

No need to change anything. Your new brp card is apprived will also expire on 31 december 2024.

If your BRP expires on 31 December 2024
You do not need to tell UKVI if your BRP expires on 31 December 2024 but your immigration status (for example, your visa) allows you to stay longer.

You will not need a BRP from 1 January 2025. You’ll be able to prove your immigration status online, without a BRP.

UKVI will update their information on how to prove your immigration status in early 2024. You do not need to do anything and your immigration status will not be affected.
