Ukraine Family Scheme

Hello,

My wife is originally from Ukraine but is a British citizen. She wants to explore the possibility of bringing her adult son, who's a Ukrainian citizen currently living in Poland, to the UK.

According to the Ukraine Family Scheme, an applicant must've been living in Ukraine on or immediately before 1st January 2022. But my stepson was living and working in Poland at that time.

I'd just like to know what, if any, options we have.

The same as a regular migrant - he needs to find a sponsored job in the UK, for example.

He's not of the age of being sponsored by a family member on usual routes and, as you mentioned, he doesn't qualify for Ukraine family scheme.
