A bit confused here. Your return resident visa freshly issued should obviously allow you to enter the UK.

You hold ILR indefinitely, not until 2024. It's the BRP card that expires at the end of 2024. Your status remains unchanged.

No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

A new cardless/no hardware system to evidence status in UK is to be rolled out shortly so worry not about BRP card validity as all being issued now expires last day of 2024.

What do you mean by "easily"?

Fast? Not necessarily, it might take up to 6 months.

You have got your returning resident visa already and can enter UK easily.
Not sure BRP needs renewal when by end of 2024, it will be scrapped, you are likely going to get moved over to the new system.

Your ILR was reinstated. ILR status is a permanent status and there is no expiry. The fact you were out of the UK for 8 years has now been resolved as you got the ILR status back

BRP is simply used as proof of your status, mostly for travel. BRP expiry has NO bearing on your ILR status and the card expiry is irrelevant. A new digital proof of status system will be introduced possibly from early 2024. After the end of 2024, that system will exclusively be used for the status instead of a BRP and all BRPs will be phased out. This means you may not need to even apply to renew your BRP :!:

BRP replacement currently takes up to 6 months. From 2025, no BRP will be valid or used. That does not mean people will lose their status. Your ILR status remain unchanged

A BRP renewal application is not a visa/immigration application, hence no

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get your Returning Resident Visa if you've been outside of the country for 8 years??

I'm planning to apply for a RR visa for my husband also, who has been outside of the UK for a long time.
