Evidence for Further Leave to Remain (Spouse)

Post by am2999 » Tue Dec 23, 2008 11:21 am

Hi,
Having successfully applied for the fiancee visa and recently married I and my new wife are in a position to apply for Further Leave to Remain.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what kind of evidence we need to provide in relation to the application. For the fiancee visa we obviously had to show evidence of the relationship but I naturally assume we won't need to do this for the FLR (M).

As regards finance and accomodation will all the same proof be necessary as for the fiancee visa? We provided the usual stuff for the visa...such as bank statements, payslips. letter from employer, budget for the finance...and letter from estate agent, tenancy contract, bills for proof of address, accomodation certificate to show flat fit for purpose, etc for the accomodation. Will we need to send all this again?

If there's anyone who has experience of this who can help then I will be grateful for the advice....thanks in anticipation.
