Driving offence

Post by Ravi567 » Wed Jan 24, 2024 10:45 am

Hi ,
My name is Ravi. Few months ago i was involved in an incident and the police sent the written charges for the driving offence ( due care and attention). They have the witness to prove me I was driving without paying attention. But actual fact is that, I was not liable for the incident and i do not have any witness to prove that.
Now Police sent me the written charges to attend the court hearing. They gave me the option to plea by guilty . If i accept it, what will be the maximum fine i have to pay for it.
Will they contact insurence company and inform about this. Will it affect anything else near in the future.

Please advice me on this.

Thanks
Ravi

Any police encounter stays on record. It never magically goes away. Even if you called the police to report a crime. There's no telling what it would affect in the future. Guess you'd cross that bridge when you get there.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
