Spouse visa

Post by UltranTurk » Sat Jan 27, 2024 7:20 pm

Hi

I came to UK with marriage visa. Our marriage is dissolved and we have 9 years old son. I made an application it was unreasonable to go to Turkey. for me as my business in the UK and my kid is here.

Right now i am married again from Turkey. I want to bring my wife to UK.

She passed the english test. So how should i do the application under Appendix FM ?

I have been 7 years in the UK I have leave to remain still don't have ILR yet.

Thanks

You cannot bring your new wife and sponsor her for a spouse visa until you have ILR.

thanks for for your response

Your partner must also either:

be a British or Irish citizen
have settled in the UK - for example, they have indefinite leave to remain, settled status or proof of permanent residence
be from the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein and have pre-settled status - they must have started living in the UK before 1 January 2021
have a Turkish Businessperson visa or Turkish Worker visa
have protection status (leave to remain as a refugee, permission to stay as a refugee or a person with humanitarian protection)

It says proof of permanent residence so i have 3 years visa already

What should i do ?

What visa category exactly do you have?
It says proof of permanent residence so i have 3 years visa already
This means you must have ILR.

I have 3 years visa because my son in the UK. So its a family route. A skilled worker visa also has nothing to do with having children in the UK.

https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/ ... d-children

Can i bring my wife with this dependant visa then ?

Do you hold a Skilled Worker visa and your employer sponsored your visa with a CoS?? This is not the same as what you said previously.

What visa category exactly do you hole? What did you apply for and what did UKVI grant you?? This is important and would determine whether you can bring your spouse or not.

If you got a visa based on the child, it is likely FLR(FP) Parent route, which means you cannot bring your wife with this visa.

What visa application did you submit for this visa??

What does the approval email or letter state?

Without giving the exact information that has been asked for multiple times now, it is unreasonable to expect any advice that is relevant to your circumstances!!
