Hi,
As mentioned in my previous posts (for which I received invaluable assistance from experts in the field), my family's and my SW visas expire on 14.07.2024. However, the issue dates of our BRPs differ. My BRP was issued on 19.07.2021, and I physically arrived in the UK on 22.08.2021. In contrast, my son and wife's BRPs were issued on 11.10.2021, and they arrived in the UK on 12.01.2022.
Using these dates and an ILR calculator, it indicates that the earliest I can apply for ILR is on 20.06.2026. This suggests that extending my visa for 2 years would suffice, as the extended visa's expiry date would then be 14.07.2026 (assuming the extension starts immediately after the current one ends). However, for my wife and son, the calculator suggests the earliest they can apply for ILR is 12.09.2026, nearly two months after the expiry of their potential extended visa (assuming a 2-year extension to 14.07.2026 as well).
I'm concerned I might have overlooked something in my calculations. Could I apply for a two-year extension for myself and a three-year extension for my wife and son to avoid additional costs (~1800-2000£) in my application?Or should I not take the risk and apply for 3 years for myself as well?
Thank you very much in advance
Kind regards
