Hi' all

The info on this link holds true only for the Maintenance section, but we should not apply it with the Previous Earnings Section where again we have to show BANK Statements as an evidence.

Kindly note that these statements should be less than 7 days old in order to make u qualify for points.

Absolutely incorrect. Time limit for statements are only for MF and for earnings it could be dated anytime in the past. As a contractor, I never earned after june and for my approved application, for previous earnings, I submitted statements between jan to jun dated august....

this is misleading.....

OK, so to put this correctly:

For MF: the statements should be:
submit evidence of personal savings to meet the maintenance requirement that is dated no more than one calendar month prior to the date application.
For Previous Earning: It should be the start and end date of the period which you are claiming.

Eg: Jan 08 - Dec 08 (in my case, applying on Jan 15th or 16th, 09)

Question: Do I still have to include the statements from Jan 1st to Jan 15 09 or Not for Previous Earning section, just to be on the safer side?

Regards
Jedi001

For MF - statements for last three months
for Earnings - statements for the 12 month period for which earning points have been claimed (showing debit of 12 month salary).
