Retake A2 for 2nd Spouse Visa Extension?

My wife was going to apply for ILR next month but is having trouble with the B1 test.
It's looking like we will need to extend her visa for the 2nd time. So, I'm looking for clarification on the A2 test. Will she need to retake her A2 exam or can she re use the A2 test she previously passed?
I'm thinking she can use her previous A2 pass but I would like to confirm and put my my mind to rest.
