Qualification requirements from Pakistan

Hi Everyone,

I’m currently looking to get my niece over from Pakistan as a Teaching Assistance in the UK.

Does anyone know what qualifications will Home Office be looking for to qualify from Pakistan ?

The Home Office won't be looking for any qualifications as it is the responsibility of the employing sponsor to determine the qualifications required to meet the SOC requirements to issue a COS. There are very few roles that have absolute qualifications other than those legally needed to practice, doctors, dentists, lawyers etc.

As a teaching assistant - the first point you need to cover off - does that role meet the minimum requirements for sponsorship.

If is does - is there a sponsor willing to employ her in that role.

SOC 6125 & 6126 - cover off teaching assistants - so the possibility is there to work in those roles in the UK

She will need to find a sponsor - it is highly unlikely she will do so before the salary threshold goes to £38,500. So that will be the difficult part.
