Declaration of consent for the Home Office to request verification checks

Post by Goenitz » Sat Feb 03, 2024 12:56 pm

Hi Guys,

I am applying for a Skilled worker visa, and then I will apply for my wife and daughter as dependants. The family consent form [https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... onsent.pdf] is puzzling me a little.

For my application: I will sign for Part 1 which is Consent for the Home Office to verify application information.

I don't have any joint account so I will not sign for Part 2.

Part 3 is Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third-party sponsor
I am sponsoring myself so, should I sign for Part 3 for my application os is it covered in Part 1?

For my wife and child, I think they will sign Part 1 and I will do Part 3 (still no Part 2). Is it?

Any previous thread or document will be appreciated.

Regards

Hi again,

So, I provided details for my wife (Passport and marriage certificate) and parents for my application (IDs). Should I ask all 3 to sign Part 2?

For my wife's application: I will upload our marriage certificate, my CoS (maintenance certified), bank statement (mine), her parent details (IDs), etc.

So, her parents should sign Part 2, and I should sign Part 2 and Part 3?

P.S. There is no joint bank account just the marriage certificate is a 'joint' document containing our both signs.

Please answer

Regards

Is your wife applying with you? If not, why are you submitting this? Your parents information and IDs are totally irrelevant. Why you have included this?

If only YOU are applying now, then you only need Consent form 1.
For my wife's application: I will upload our marriage certificate, my CoS (maintenance certified), bank statement (mine), her parent details (IDs), etc.
You do NOT need her parents details. Totally irrelevant to the application.
So, her parents should sign Part 2, and I should sign Part 2 and Part 3?
NO!!

You have already been told what to do regarding the consent forms!!

No. We have to file separate applications as she is overseas now.
I included those details as it was in the application.

yes. That is required for every applicant.

It was in the Tier 2 Skilled Worker's application. I have to provide details.

Yes, I know but just worried about what is a 'joint' document like just bills, rent contracts, bank accounts or everything like a marriage certificate.

I will take all types of consent forms but upload only what have been told. That is the form with my sign for Part 1 and my wife's sign for Part 2, for my application, and reverse for my wife's application.

Thank you all for your responses. [/quote]
