Does VFSstaff help correct any error in appl befor accepting

Post by harneet691 » Mon Dec 29, 2008 4:05 pm

Hi

I have a few doubts related to filling up the Personal Details and Appendix 1 forms even after going through the respective Guidelines.

1) Can I ask for the same help from VFS staff when i reach there.

2) Is there any helpdesk official who can first understand my case and correct me if there is some mistake/error in the application i carry.

At times they themselves do not know anything about the application (they go by a checklist to see that you have completed some sectionsa and have provided required proof etc. nothing beyond that). Re my HSMP application I was assigned to a trainee there and it was a nightmare explaining things to him./

Post your queries here and we should be able to help you

1) When I asked the VFS person accepting my application, he simpy scanned through the form and informed me of the missing areas, not how to fill that detail though.

2) I found it difficult to find an official who can help me with my application. My entire application is basis this wonderful forum and its kind members who helped me resolve whatever doubts I had.

I'm awaiting the outcome of my application.

Good luck to you.

I was not very careful with my first application - my payslips were not stamped and bank statement was not on official stationery. VFS did not point these out.

Do your own research. Read all official guidance and forums. Post questions if anything is not clear to you. VFS are no good as advisors.

True....

Pls don't believe that VFS guyz will help you. They even don't know the exact checklist required for Tier 1.

Try to read the guidelines carefully and ask the queries here in the forum. Try to read various posts in this forums. That's what I did and I got my tier 1 visa stamped on my passport.

Regards,
Suresh
