Latest Rate for Salary conversion instead of end of Period

I have taken Appointment & will be putting my file on 14th Jan 2009...

I read some where that as per the latest guidance they are using the latest rates for conversion as on Oanda.com. instead of end of period rate(31dec08 in my case)

Now weather i should use rate of 31st Dec or 13th Jan

I will be showing 12 months of salary as 01-01-2008 to 31-12-2008 Plz confirm this NEWS..

I don't think there is any change in the previous earnings rule. Would recommend you to stick to 31/12.Stick

As far as I know there has been no change in the guidance re conversion of currency. Can you please points us to your "I read some where" source please?
