Im due to apply for ILR next week. I really could use some reassurance regarding my name change and if this will have any significant impact on my application. I was married 5 years ago but my passport to enter the UK in my maiden name is still valid and matches my current brp. I recently updated my passport (2 months ago) to reflect my married name. I have not updated my brp prior to this because I didn't think I had to since both documents were in my maiden name.
Can someone advise if it is fine for me to make my ILR application using my married name and include my other names ( maiden) on the form? The application asks me to submit my BRP in my married name which it is not. I am able to provide reference numbers from previous applications that were in my maiden name so they should be able to see the link. I will also submit both passports to the home office. I'm just really nervous and don't wish for anything to go wrong or delay the process at this point. I plan to apply for the priority service to get a decision in 5 days.
